Your safety matters on every AveroPH trip. These guidelines help you book with confidence and know what to do before, during, and after your stay across the Philippines.
Before you book
- Read the full listing — photos, amenities, house rules, and location details.
- Check reviews from past guests and the host’s response rate when available.
- Keep all communication and payments on AveroPH. Off-platform requests are a red flag.
- Share your itinerary with someone you trust and confirm check-in instructions in advance.
Verified hosts & listings
Listings go through AveroPH review before they are published. Hosts must provide accurate descriptions and identity verification where required. If something in the listing looks misleading, report it before you pay.
During your stay
- Use the in-app message thread for check-in questions and issues with the host.
- Follow house rules, quiet hours, and building or barangay policies.
- Do not share door codes or access details publicly on social media.
- Document major problems (photos, timestamps) and contact the host first through AveroPH.
Payments & avoiding scams
- Never wire money, send GCash, or pay outside AveroPH for a listing you found here.
- Decline requests to cancel on-platform and rebook privately — you lose payment protection.
- If a host pressures you to skip verification or move the conversation elsewhere, stop and report the listing.
After you check in
Save your host’s AveroPH message thread and booking confirmation. Note emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and local hospital or police contacts for the area. If the property is significantly different from the listing, document it and message the host before leaving a review.
If you feel unsafe
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (Philippines: 911) first. When it is safe, open your trip in AveroPH and use Messages to reach your host. For serious safety concerns about a listing or guest, contact support from your booking or account settings.
Reporting a concern
- Use Messages on your booking for check-in or property issues — many problems resolve quickly with the host.
- For fraud, harassment, discrimination, or threats, report through Help Center or your trip details.
- Leave an honest review after your stay so other guests benefit from your experience.
